Good Measure reviews each recipe for clarity, internal consistency, useful context, and responsible publication before it appears as published content.

Clarity in the recipe

Ingredient quantities, pan sizes, temperatures, timing, yield, and method should agree with one another. Instructions should name useful visual or texture cues when a clock alone is not enough.

Data consistency

The recipe readers see and the structured information supplied to search engines come from the same validated record. Serving controls use authored US and metric quantities rather than estimated conversions.

Sources and safety

Claims involving food safety, storage, or required cooking temperatures are reviewed against current authoritative sources. Source links are included when they materially help a reader verify or understand the guidance.

Corrections and updates

Clear errors are corrected promptly. A visible updated date is used for substantive reader-facing changes, not routine formatting. See the corrections policy for how to report an issue.

Publication approval

Each change is prepared on a feature branch and checked against the content contracts. Editorial review is required, and the merge of the reviewed change is the final approval to publish it.
